"When we opened the bed and breakfast, it was the culmination of a 25 year dream. This is what we planned for and worked towards during our other careers." Jim & Sue Jim, of Irish descent, worked in institutional food sales as a rep for seven western states and then owned and managed a video store. Sue, of Slovak descent, is a retired pediatric nurse practitioner. They love to have fun teasing each other about their descendants. One bedroom is decorated with an Irish tone while another is decorated Slovak style. |

When Jim and Sue traveled, they loved staying at bed and breakfast places. Over the years, they stayed at many places and learned first hand the features they liked. They looked at many homes in dozens of locations trying to find the right place for a bed and breakfast of their own. In the end, they decided that the only way they could get the kind of place they wanted was to build it. The result is this beautiful home which features private entrances from the outside to each of the suites. |

"Being in Montana and especially directly on the shores of Flathead Lake, offers some great experiences. We designed this building for the comfort and privacy of our guests. We wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere where guests would feel cared for but also free to be alone or to come and go as they wish.
